Earning an online bachelor’s degree in human resources is a great way to advance your career and earn valuable certification essential to success in the industry. Employment of business and financial operations occupations is projected to grow faster than the average for all occupations between 2016 and 2026 according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and a bachelor’s degree is considered required entry-level education for a career in HR. Earning an HR degree online can give you the flexibility needed to meet personal and professional obligations without the need to travel to campus or attend traditional courses.

We created this ranking of the top online bachelor’s in human resources based on information we received from the National Center for Education Statistics. We looked for schools offering a bachelor’s degree in HR online and narrowed our list to those offering a curriculum that aligns with the guidelines set by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). We then created and applied a ranking system using average net price, student to faculty tuition rates and overall graduation rate.
