We began by researching schools offering MBAs in human resources programs. First, we searched on NCES College Navigator. We also looked at those listed with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).  Our list includes in-person and online programs.

We considered factors such as tuition, student-to-faculty ratio, and return on investment. Then, after much consideration, we choose the top 10 MBA in HR programs. Finally, we applied the following ranking criteria:

Average Graduate Tuition

We looked at the average graduate tuition per academic year only. We did not include any additional fees. Please also note that the rates listed are based on in-state rates for graduate students. Out-of-state students may have additional costs.

We considered a school’s student-to-faculty ratio when creating our ranking. We felt this criteria was important. Typically, the lower this ratio is, the more individualized attention a student can expect.
